Our general itinerary

Wednesday, January 7 - Leave B'ham at 9:40 am (B'ham to Newark, Newark to Hong Kong)

Thursday, January 8 - Arrive in Hong Kong at 7:50 pm (early Thurs. morning U.S. time)

Friday, January 9 - Half day afternoon tour of Hong Kong

Saturday, January 10 - Spend the day at Hong Kong Disney

Sunday, January 11 - Take train to Guangzhou

Monday, January 12 - MEET YOU YOU!!!!!!

Wednesday, Januray 21 - Take train back to Hong Kong

Thursday, January 22 - Leave Hong Kong and arrive in B'ham at 10:25 pm


Between Tuesday, January 13 and Wednesday, January 21 we have lots of things to do, I just don't know for sure yet what we will be doing each day:

- complete the official provincial paperwork and finalize her adoption
- get her birth certificate and Chinese passport
- medical exam
- visit TCH (where Clara has been cared for since she was 11 months old
- visit Zhanjiang Childrens Welfare Institute (her original orphanage)
- shopping and sightseeing

    Godspeed friend!! Hurry back with that baby girl!! I am taking care of your nerves, excitement, awe, scaredness, and will live each moment with you in spirit. Don't stand back...be there!!     I just checked your itinerary and I don't see the part where you stop by Jakarta for a visit. Even so... we pray you all have a wonderful trip! :-) Hugs from us all!

    Wow...its your time and I cant wait to follow every minute of your journal now. Now remember..blog three times a day (haha). Enjoy every minute of it, it goes by so quickly. Sweet Clara...your beautiful family is coming.
    Look foward to the pictures in Hong Kong...we really wanted to do that also, but ran out of time.

    I am SO EXCITED tonight, this last night before you leave! I'm tempted to come to the airport to bid you goodbye...don't put it past me! I am pumped you're flying into B'ham! (oh, I guess I should ask...can I come to the airport? ;) I'll hide behind a kiosk if you say no...you won't even know I'm there! Bwah-ha-ha-ha!)
    Can't wait to see that first post from CHINA!!!!!!!! Or is it Hong Kong first?
